Is your Apple ID gives you a headache? Many users experience a verification error when trying to sign into iCloud or other services. If you get a message that says, “There was an error connecting to the Apple ID Server,” there are some things that you can try to get your device back up and running.
Apple ID verification errors can occur on the iPhone and other Apple devices. In addition to iCloud, other services that use the Apple ID can also be affected. Often, the error will appear once or twice and then repair itself, but may be continuous and require troubleshooting. Fortunately, most of the methods to fix the problem that is simple and only takes one or two minutes to complete.
vBefore you walk into any shape longer than solving the problem, there are a few quick steps to check first. You may have trouble signing into an Apple ID for a variety of reasons, and some of them will be at your end, but Apple may have the same problem with both. Do not change the settings on your phone before checking the following:
1. Make sure your phone when connected to the internet. Wi-Fi is preferred if you are in a place where the mobile internet is spotty.
2. If your phone is connected to the Internet, you should check how stable connection. In terms of transfer speed is low or termination, the Apple ID you may have chosen the wrong moment to enter. Check the stability and speed of your connection through a tool such as Speedtest or just trying to launch different applications and see if it loads fast.
3. Remember the fault could lie in the end Apple. The company has a system status website that lets you check whether your current selection of services available. If the service is experiencing problems, try logging in again at a later time.
If you are using a stable connection and Apple services up and running, it’s time to try some other improvements. We have listed a few methods for you to try out below.
Most users manage to correct these errors with a few basic steps. Start by trying all the methods listed below, and then switch to the advanced options only if necessary. Make sure that the remnants of your phone is connected to the internet when you’re solving a problem because, after every effort, you should try to connect to the Apple ID again.
1. Check and, if necessary, update the time and date on your phone. Do this by going to Settings and then go to General> Date and Time. You may have to change the clock to 24-hour clock as opposed to 12 hours – for some users on Apple’s Developer Forum, this did the trick.
2. Make sure your iOS is up to date. Phones that have not received an update in a long time may begin to malfunction. If you are unsure how to do this, do not worry – we have a guide on updating your iOS here. Mac users should check Apple’s update guide their desktop or laptop.
3. Out of iTunes and the Apple App Store, as well as other applications that may be using an Apple ID. To do this, open the Settings app, navigate to the iTunes and App Store, and tap on your Apple ID at the top of the screen. Select “Sign Out” and then try to log in again.
4. Restart your device. You can (and should) first try to restart normal – it just might do the trick. However, if after a restart you are still experiencing this problem, you should try to restart the power. On iOS devices, you can do this by quickly pressing and releasing the volume buttons, and volume down button, and the last, hold the side button. Releasing it only when the Apple logo appears. 5. Replace your Apple ID password. You can do this by going to Settings, tapping your name, and then Password & Security. You will be prompted to enter your current password. After that, just press the Change Password and try to log in again. Check Apple’s guide if you need further assistance.
