Apple Q1 2022 winners & losers: iPhone up, iPad down in bumper holiday

Apple has released a revenue report for the first fiscal quarter of 2022, announced a record of all other times with revenues of $ 123.9 billion. The company edited a “very strong customer response” to the latest and largest products for growth, recorded its income ultimately jumped 11 percent compared to the previous year.

Apple introduced the iPhone 13 series in September 2021, opening the way for sales that are usually high during the holiday period. In October, the company warned that supply shortages might end regarding the iPhone and iPad lines, potentially impact on vacation sales. This reality is reflected in the consumer’s struggle to find the Iphone 13 Pro, at least in the desired configuration, for weeks after its launch.

Although the December quarter ends more than analyst expectations, the struggle is not enough. Cook explained that the “biggest problem” of Apple involves supply chain constraints related to Legacy node, the problem we have heard before. However, Apple CEO revealed the company was “fine” when it comes to getting the leading chip, which refers to strong hardware that gives many smart devices used in everyday life.

Side control, Cook also mentions Apple’s ongoing environmental and social efforts as part of the company’s revenue announcement, which states:

We are grateful for seeing responses from customers around the world when they stay connected have never been more important. We do everything we can to help build a better world – make progress towards our destination to become neutral carbon in all of our supply chains and products in 2030, and push forward with our work in our education and equity races and justice.
